We’re tucked between Trader Joe’s and Board & Brew. We happily serve the entire North County San Diego community.
Q: Do you offer dine-in service?
A: Yes, we will have a limited meat, cheese, and pasta a la carte menu, featuring daily specials based on available produce + chef inspiration. Seating options include our outdoor patio area as well as our indoor 5 seat pasta counter where you can watch our chef make the pasta you’re enjoying, and a communal table with seating for 12. That said, we are primarily a take-home fresh pasta and subscription based concept. Our space places a focus on retail and community experiences like tastings and classes.

Q: How fresh is your pasta?
A: All pasta is made fresh daily by our chefs in small batches to ensure the highest quality. Most varieties are hand-cut or hand-rolled the same day you buy them!

A: We offer over 75 pasta and sauce combinations — including tagliatelle, ravioli, tortellini, “take and bake” lasagnas, and vegan + gluten free extruded varieties. Seasonal specials will rotate monthly.
Q: How long does the pasta stay fresh?
A: Fresh egg pasta should be refrigerated and enjoyed within 2-3 days. Fresh extruded/vegan pasta can be enjoyed for up to 4-5 days refrigerated. You can also freeze our fresh pasta for up to 30 days without affecting quality or flavor.
Q: Do you have gluten-free or vegan options?
A: Yes — we make vegan extruded pastas (like fusilli and penne) and always offer gluten-free selections. Check our weekly menu to stay up to date on our current offerings.

A: We make it easy to achieve chef-level quality at home! Most fresh pastas cook in 2–4 minutes in boiling salted water. Sauces are sold ready to heat and toss.

A: The Pastaria Vivi Subscription Box is a convenient way to enjoy fresh handmade pasta every week! Each box includes three chef-selected pastas, three signature sauces, artisanal extras like cheese, marinated olives, or cookies, and a Pastaria Vivi recipe card with cooking tips to get the “restaurant at home” experience.
Q: How often do boxes come out?
A: Pastaria Vivi Subscription Boxes are available for monthly pickup. We currently offer in-store pickup only, ensuring maximum freshness.
Q: Can I customize my subscription?
A: While the chefs will select the contents of each box, you will be able to choose box size (Standard/Couple or Family) and duration of subscription (1, 3, or 6 months). Frequent buyers have the opportunity to save more with longer plans.
